I was actually also considering medical imaging technology for my project, so I'm excited to see where this goes! As you know, I'm not particularly concise, so I'm going to try to keep this short -- let me know if I skim over anything too fast.
as far as I can tell, your 'show and tell' component is a data analysis -- possibly consider something more visual/hands-on? (I realize this might not be 100% practical; it's actually why I dropped this for myself)
maybe consider cutting down the number of imaging technologies you look into -- I haven't studied any of them extensively, so I can't speak to how much variation there is between them, but I imagine you might not have time to give in-depth research to all of them
I'm not sure if this is a real thing (it might just be that medical professionals enjoy health-history-20-questions), and even if it is it might not be in your wheelhouse, but I know even imaging technicians always bother you about medical histories even for things such as medications -- if there's any physics connection to why that could be a concern it might be interesting
(also wrote a bit of sewing-related feedback for Kevin Ireland, because I happen to have spent a lot of time thinking about that in recent times)
