not the first compilation post, and probably not the last, either
I managed to get sick again. (Not technically again, because last time was a chronic flare-up and this time is just like an acute cold.) Which, naturally, means that work is slow and things are a bit harder than I'd like.
So. This project is not all technically done. I've got a lot of research, editing, and analysis to do -- although time is currently running short and my current lack of energy is decidedly not helpful. Because this post is already behind schedule, I am just going to direct you to this playlist of videos, which includes a full project diary (half-hour summary of how I did everything, focusing on process work) and experiment vlog (a solid 40 minutes of recordings spanning some 5 hours of work). I am working on videos regarding the science side of things and then the 5-10 minute summary video for, which will hopefully be up soon. Furthermore, I'm still not happy with the amount of secondary research I was able to get done, although that has proven to be harder to correct than I would have expected.
I know it's terrible, but I am honestly 100% planning to end up pulling some all-nighters this week (she says, while still sick). I'm hoping to get all video work done by the end of Monday (or at the latest, Tuesday), and I want secondary research done before I go to bed tonight (... it may or may not be 11:14 pm at the time of writing, but in my defense, I am sick, and therefore I woke up really late).
The rest of my primary research blog posts can be found... well, throughout my blog. Specifically, the Finished Object tag will direct you to my weekly-ish posts on completed works.
ETA: forgot to add these earlier -- here are some graphs. Experimental results are not great, and that's disappointing, but I've kind of accepted that.
